Chef Renzo, born in Padova, Italy, attended culinary school in Abano Terme where he had the opportunity to work throughout Europe. After Culinary school, he worked in London, England before coming to the United States. Renzo spent most of his years as a chef bringing a little “Northern Italy” to the restaurants in the San Francisco area. Having served as Executive Chef at Kenwood Inn & Spa for several years; he can now be found here at the HKG tasting room, preparing culinary delights to pair with our estate wines.
When he is not cooking, Renzo enjoys gardening, hiking and reading. He has a son and two daughters who share their dad’s culinary talents and have helped out at many winery events.
